OnePlus has stared rolling out Oxygen OS 9.5.8 for OnePlus 7 Pro. It fixes one of the annoying issue users faced, the pop up front Camera popping up during a video call with screen off or locked.
The update also contains the Android Security patch to May 2019.
Changelog for the 9.5.8 update:
- System
- Optimized touch sensitivity for the screen
- Optimized compatibility for third-party Type-C headphones
- Updated Android security patch to 2019.05
- General bug fixes and improvements
- Phone
- Improved audio quality
- Camera
- Fixed issue with the pop up camera opening for an incoming video call while the screen is off or locked
This update probably will fix the ghost touch updates, as the changelog says about the ‘Optimized touch sensitivity’. Along with this it also optimizes compatibility for Type-C headphones.
As usual it is a staged roll-out OTA update and would probably reach users in next few days. More information is available on the OnePlus Community thread here.
